Biography

Peter J. Barris has served as a member of our board of directors since September 2017. Mr. Barris has also served on the boards of directors of Berkshire Grey, Inc. since April 2016, Sprout Social, Inc. since February 2011 and Groupon since January 2008. Mr. Barris joined New Enterprise Associates, Inc., or NEA, a global venture capital fund investing in technology and healthcare, where he specialized in information technology investing, in 1992 and retired at the end of 2019. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Barris held several roles at NEA, including Managing General Partner from 1999 to 2017. After retiring in 2019, Mr. Barris now serves as Chairman of NEA. Mr. Barris holds a B.S. from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth University.
